About this test
Cortisol follows a daily rhythm, usually highest after waking and lowest at night, so a single reading shows only one point in the day. This profile uses four saliva samples collected across one day to map that pattern, alongside DHEA-S and the cortisol to DHEA-S ratio. Results describe your pattern on the day of collection and are best interpreted with a clinician; they do not diagnose a condition on their own.
