About this test
This stool test looks at your gut directly. It profiles your gut bacteria, measures markers of digestion, and includes inflammation markers such as calprotectin, which doctors use when assessing gut symptoms. It also screens for selected pathogens and measures short-chain fatty acids produced by gut bacteria. Results are best reviewed with a clinician, particularly if you have ongoing symptoms.
