About this test
Methylation is a set of chemical reactions the body uses for many processes, including making neurotransmitters and processing homocysteine. This panel measures methylation markers, including the SAM to SAH ratio, and homocysteine pathway markers. People sometimes explore it if they know they carry an MTHFR variant.
