Longevity Blood Test Packages Explained
A detailed breakdown of what's tested in each Longevity tier, and why every marker is included.
Testing with the long term in mind
Many blood tests are used to find out whether something is wrong now. Our Longevity panels include markers linked with long-term health, so you can see where you stand and follow changes over time.
Every biomarker in our Longevity tiers has been linked in peer-reviewed research to long-term health outcomes, including cardiovascular risk, metabolic dysfunction, organ health, and immune function. Each tier builds on the last, adding more markers at each level.

Longevity Bronze: The Essential Health Check
The Bronze panel covers foundational markers widely used to assess long-term health.
Full Blood Count provides a comprehensive overview of your blood cell health, detecting anaemia, infection, and immune function. Liver Function tests assess how your liver is working, which can be affected by diet, alcohol and some medicines.
Kidney Function monitors your filtration capacity, which can show early decline. Lipid Profile measures cholesterol and triglycerides, a cornerstone of cardiovascular risk assessment. Heart disease is a leading cause of death in the UK.
HbA1c gives you a three-month average of blood sugar control, making it far more reliable than a single glucose reading for assessing diabetes risk. Vitamin D is important for bone health and immune function, and has been linked with mood. Low levels are common in UK adults, particularly during autumn and winter.
Bronze gives you a broad baseline of everyday health markers.
Longevity Silver: The Proactive Deep Dive
Silver adds markers that give more context to your general health.
Thyroid Function shows how your thyroid is working. Even subclinical thyroid dysfunction has been linked with changes in energy, weight and mood, and with cardiovascular risk.
hs-CRP measures systemic inflammation at high sensitivity. Chronic low-grade inflammation is linked with ageing, cardiovascular disease, and neurodegeneration, and hs-CRP is a widely used way to measure it.
Iron Profile provides a comprehensive view of iron transport and storage, going beyond ferritin to help show both deficiency and iron overload, which can damage organs over many years. Vitamin B12 and Folate are essential for neurological health, DNA repair, and red blood cell production. Deficiency is common, especially over the age of 50, and is linked to cognitive decline.
Uric Acid is increasingly recognised as a metabolic and cardiovascular risk marker, not just a gout indicator. Elevated levels correlate with insulin resistance, kidney disease, and hypertension.
Silver is for those who want more context on their general health.
Longevity Gold: The Comprehensive Longevity Profile
Gold is the most thorough longevity panel we offer, designed for those who take their long-term health seriously and want the most detail.
Insulin is arguably the most important addition in Gold. While HbA1c tells you your average blood sugar, insulin reveals how hard your body is working to maintain it. Hyperinsulinaemia (elevated insulin with normal blood sugar) can be an early sign of metabolic strain, sometimes appearing years before a diabetes diagnosis. Most standard health checks don't test it.
Glucose (Random) complements HbA1c and Insulin to give a full snapshot of glycaemic control at the time of testing. Homocysteine is an independent cardiovascular and neurological risk marker that reflects B-vitamin metabolism and methylation efficiency. Elevated levels are linked to increased stroke, heart attack, and dementia risk.
Omega-6:Omega-3 Ratio reflects the balance of these fats in your diet, which has been linked with inflammation and cardiovascular health. Measuring it shows where you stand.
Cortisol (AM) gives a morning snapshot of your stress response and adrenal function. Persistently high cortisol is linked with immune suppression, bone loss and metabolic changes. DHEA-S is an adrenal hormone that declines with age, and low levels are associated with increased frailty, cardiovascular risk, and cognitive decline.
Immunoglobulin E is linked with allergy, while Corrected Calcium relates to bone and parathyroid health.
Gold doesn't just test more. It adds markers that give more context on how your health is changing over time.
Why the Combination Matters
Our Longevity panels aren't just longer test lists at higher tiers. They're carefully designed combinations where each marker adds context to the others.
Insulin adds context to HbA1c, and hs-CRP to cholesterol. Iron results are easier to read alongside a Full Blood Count, and cortisol and DHEA-S together give a broader view of adrenal function.
Every marker in every tier earns its place by adding context to the panel as a whole. If you choose an optional AI summary, it explains how your results relate to each other in plain English.
The aim is to understand your results together, and to see how they change over time.
